Horseshoe with Horsehair and Flowers - Memorial or Keepsake

A treasured keepsake or memorial of your beloved horse, pony, donkey or mule. Using a few strands of your pets hair or ashes I will create a beautiful permanent memory of your loved one.

What I provide is an indelible, physical, beautiful artistic creation for you to always remember your loved one. The horse shoes now come in 3 sizes. Pony, which is the size of a small pony or miniature horse, Regular which is what you'd expect to find on the hoof of your average horse and lastly Draft which is lovely big shoe typically found on feathered feet of draft sized horses. Each shoe is handcrafted with care and respect. Each shoe is individually crafted to your specifications. If you have a specific request, I will do my best to be able to make it happen. Please let me know your favorite flowers or flower colors. Every shoe varies, as it should, as each horse was it's on unique soul. It is my honor to immortalize your horse.

If you are including ashes in your shoe, please let me know if you would like the ashes shaped into any particular look. I can encapsulate the ashes in their own bead and include that inside the resin shoe. That helps the ashes stand out prominently. I have included a photograph of ashes preserved in this manner in my photo gallery.

Additionally I can include other keepsakes or objects inside the shoe with your horses hair and the flowers. Anything that is small enough to fit inside the shoe, can be preserved. Golden flakes, silver flakes, copper flakes, coins, gemstones, small ribbons, etc.

I am also happy to make shoes for children. If you would like a more child like shoe created, just let me know.

The first step is that I will need you to mail me the hair or ash. Once you have placed your order, I will contact you to give you my mailing address as well as verify your design wishes. (Flower colors, flower types, additional inclusions, etc.) I will notify you immediately when your envelope or box arrives with your loved ones remains to let you know that it arrived safely. Then I will be able to start the preservation process. The current start to finish time (from when I receive the hair or ashes) is 4-10 days. Resin takes a few days to cure and I always make sure your shoe is ready to go before I package it up and send it back home to you.

Packaging: Each package is respectfully and carefully packed with beautiful packaging. Not only will this keep your treasure safe, but hopefully it will bring you a little bit of luxury and joy when you receive it. Also included with each shoe is another small keepsake of your loved horse, when provided materials allow.
